Very pleased to have contributed to a brand new paper published in PNAS (our 2nd paper in this journal this month), in collaboration with Ana Cuenda's group at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and spearheaded by the brilliant former PhD student (and now postdoc at Karolinska Institute) Alejandra Escós. This paper shows how p38γ/p38δ MAPKs regulate TPL2, which controls cytokine production, by stabilizing TPL2 protein and modulating TPL2 mRNA translation via ACO1 RNA-binding protein.
